The New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum is 47 acres packed with real stories about real people. This interactive museum brings to life the 3,000-year history of farming and ranching in New Mexico.
This museum is located an hour East of Las Cruces, in Alamogordo, and has exhibitions ranging from Robert Goddard's early rocket experiments near Roswell to a mock-up of the International Space Station.
The Las Cruces Museum of Natural History is located in the Mesilla Valley Mall and is dedicated to broadening people’s understanding of natural history, science, and the environment of New Mexico and the Chihuahuan Desert.
Space Murals, Inc. has become known as "The People's Museum," due to the fact, most of the inside displays were put on display by, or on loan from, people who have an interest in the Space Program. New artifacts are arriving almost daily.
The museum is housed in the Las Cruces' historic 1910 Santa Fe Depot. Exhibits explore the history if the railroad adn its impact on the region.
